Neurodiversity-Affirming Therapy
Offering individual psychotherapy to adults in Michigan over a secure, HIPAA-compliant Telehealth platform.
ADHD and Autism
Neurodiversity-affirming therapy for individuals, including ADHD and Autistic adults—whether newly diagnosed, exploring a possible diagnosis, or navigating life with a long-standing diagnosis. Together, we can unpack past challenges and work through trauma or shame stemming from growing up in an environment that didn’t meet your unique needs. We'll address co-occurring mental health concerns and create personalized strategies and accommodations to help you live your most fulfilling life.
LGBTQIA+
Affirming, compassionate, and inclusive care for the LGBTQIA+ community. Navigating identity, relationships, or life’s challenges can be complex, and I strive to provide a safe space where you can be your authentic self. Together, we’ll work toward healing, growth, and self-empowerment. You are seen, valued, and welcome here.
Trauma
Compassionate therapy for adults navigating the effects of trauma. Whether you’re coping with recent experiences or working through the lasting impact of past events, this space is here to support your healing journey. Together, we’ll address the emotional and psychological effects of trauma, process feelings of shame or overwhelm, and develop tools to regain a sense of safety, empowerment, and fulfillment in your life. I utilize trauma-focused, evidence-based approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), to support healing and recovery.
Depression and Anxiety
Supportive therapy for adults experiencing depression or anxiety. In a collaborative and compassionate space, we’ll explore how your brain processes emotions and stress, and address how these challenges impact your relationships and daily life. Together, we’ll develop practical strategies to foster emotional well-being, strengthen connections, and create a more fulfilling life.
Traumatic Brain Injury
Supportive psychotherapy designed to help navigate the challenges of life after a traumatic brain injury (TBI), whether experienced personally or through supporting a loved one. Focus areas include processing the emotional impact, addressing related mental health concerns, and creating practical strategies for adaptation and growth.
Therapy Services
I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can engage in healing conversations. That space is built on trust and acceptance, embracing you as you are and whatever challenges you’re facing. Whether you want to better understand your brain, heal from past trauma, unpack shame, or enhance your coping strategies, therapy can be a powerful step toward greater wellness.
I specialize in working with adults (18+) in areas including ADHD, Autism, TBI, trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also have experience supporting clients navigating identity and self-esteem challenges, chronic illness, relationship concerns, and LGBTQIA+ specific needs.
Telehealth Therapy
I offer telehealth psychotherapy services to individual adults in Michigan, conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video or audio platform.
I use an integrative interpersonal approach, tailoring therapy to meet the unique needs of each client. My practice is grounded in providing neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed care for everyone I work with.
Neurodiversity-Affirming
Neurodiversity-affirming therapy embraces and values the unique ways each brain functions. This approach celebrates neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD, Autism, TBI, and other cognitive, neurological, or neurodevelopmental differences. By focusing on strengths, fostering self-acceptance, providing tailored support, and collaboratively identifying accommodations, it aims to create a safe, inclusive space where individuals can thrive authentically and on their own terms.
Trauma Focused
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a trauma-focused approach that helps process and heal distressing memories by using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation. Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic model that explores the different parts of your inner self, helping to heal wounds, resolve inner conflicts, and foster self-compassion. Both approaches are evidence-based and can support meaningful healing and personal growth
